The History Center at 312 E. Main in Luverne, MN has has an extensive collection of information for those interested in local history or genealogy. The Research Center is a non-circulating library and archives with collections available for onsite use. There is no fee for using the Research Center but a free will donation to support the work of the Historical Society is appreciated.

The use of the Research Center is free but there are fees for any copies made:
- $1 each sheet 8 ½ by 11
- $10 each 8 x 10 photo printed on high quality photo paper
Genealogy Records
The Historical Society may be able to provide help to genealogists researching their family history in Rock County. We have many obituaries available, copies of some local newspapers, plat books, some family histories, etc. that may be applicable. Contact the Historical Society at (507) 283-2122 or rcmuseum@gmail.com with your request for help. Depending on volunteer help available, we will do our best to give you a timely response. Research is charged at the rate of $10/hour.
