The Ordung Building helps us remember a simpler yet much harder time in agricultural history. Early settlers used the machines found in this building to work the surrounding land. It is found at the Rock County Fairgrounds. Rock County has always been an agricultural community and we give a great effort to preserving the tools, machinery, and inventions that helped our ancestors. Not only will you find farming equipment but parked in the Ordung building are two early models of fire engines , built by Luverne Fire Apparatus and donated to the Rock County Historical society. Both fire engines are in working condition and can be seen in action at local parades and special events.
