The Rock County Historical Society is dedicated to archiving and preserving the rich 150-year history of Rock County. The main headquarters are at the History Center at 312 E. Main St in Luverne. Other properties of the Society are the Hinkly House and the Fairgrounds buildings.
The History Center houses many exhibits relating to early life in Rock County as well as the permanent display of more than 6,000 nutcrackers. The History Center is open from 10 AM to 4 PM Monday through Saturday.
There are many ways you can experience our museums. Come and visit to see the displays. Volunteer to help, or maintain and develop our collection. Support the local organization by becoming a member today!
